Director based at our Atherstone Surgery
John joined Oakfield Veterinary Group in 1978 having trained at Edinburgh University. Originally from Marple in Stockport, he has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, diabetic control and orthopaedic work. John lives in Berkswell and has three rescued pets of his own: a labrador called Mollie, a collie called Briar and Ron the cat.

Chloe BurgessBVetMed MRCVS
Chloe graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010. She spent two years working in small animal practice in Dudley before completing a year long internship at the RVC working alongside some of Europe’s top specialists. She has a special interest in surgery and emergency and critical care. Chloe lives with Dobbie the naughty tortie cat and an elderly but just as naughty beagle called Jasper. She spends her free time abseiling into caves and potholes around the UK.

Emma graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011. She worked as a mixed vet in Ross-On-Wye before moving to Oakfield’s in February 2013. Emma has two Jack Russell Terriers, Maisy and Phoebe and Thomas the cat. In her spare time she helps on her family farm.
